PRESENT SPACE MAG ISSUE 6

Photographed by Julien T. Hamon for Present Space Magazine, this editorial features Chinese-American filmmaker Constance Tsang, known for her debut feature Blue Sun Palace, which premiered at Cannes in 2024. In an in-depth conversation with Belgian director Leonardo Van Dijl, Tsang reflects on identity, craft, and her sensorial approach to filmmaking.

The visual direction of the shoot aimed to reflect the intimacy and attentiveness central to Tsang’s storytelling, with a restrained yet expressive set design that supported the natural gestures and textures captured throughout the session.
